I am using 2 canister filters on a drilled tank and I am having a problem with the plumbing joints leaking. I have had to use reducing joints to reduce down from a 25mm bulkhead to the 22mm eheim hose. I have used plastic clamps on all the joins but I am getting a drip leak from the 25mm tubing i bought from bunnings where it connects to the bulkhead and reducer. Any suggestions? Should I get better clamps? Silicone the joints? At this point I am considering starting over with pvc and gluing everything. The back of the tank is really hard to get to as the tank sits in an alcove and has walls on 3 sides so I need something that will last a LONG time!
